August has been full of exciting things happening at the Rosen JCC!
We finished up Camp J and got ready for the start of school on August 9th. Everyone was excited to see the kids back and hope they had a fun summer.
This month The Rosen JCC: Your Town Square hosted a “no appointment necessary” vaccine clinic with Walgreens. The Walgreens team was on our campus Tuesday August 24th from 12:30 pm – 6:30 pm. The Town Square knows we are all “Better Together”. What better way to help our members and the local community than to provide an option to stay healthy with Flu shots and the Covid-19 vaccine. They also offered Tdap (whooping cough), Prevnar and Pneumonia and Shingles vaccines. Walgreens provided vouchers for those attending who didn’t have insurance.
Also on the 24th at 7:30 pm. we had artist Sandrine Farache in our multi-purpose room doing a Rosh Hashanah art project.

A sneak peek at an upcoming event for September is The National Basketball Academy will be using our gym facilities for Train & Play Workouts for grades K- 10th.
