Kindergarten at the Rosen JCC, Powered by STEAM

The Rosen JCC Early Childhood Learning Center (ECLC) offers Kindergarten. We are excited to announce the addition of STEAM to our curriculum!

STEAM is an educational approach to learning which incorporates Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics to develop critical thinking.

Children have a natural curiosity and STEAM allows them to explore these concepts as they learn. Students learn to take risks, explore and engage in experiential learning. It offers more than practical skills alone. It gives them a new way to think and gives them problem solving skills.

These skills will be a critical part of dealing with future educational challenges and as they move into their real world careers.

Registration is currently open for the Kindergarten class of 2022-2023. Another feature of the Kindergarten program is the smaller class size with a ratio of 1:10. This allows for small groups and more individual instruction.

Kindergarten at the Rosen JCC uses STEAM curriculum.

The mix of smaller classes and the addition of STEAM builds a solid foundation of core skills for math, reading and writing. This prepares students as them move on to first grade in public or private elementary schools.

Classes include daily enrichment activities including Spanish, music, science, fitness & gym, cooking, technology and art. There is a mix of gardening, art, baking, sports and science experiments to make learning fun.

Communication between parents and teachers is an important part of the program. Brightwheel is utilized for 2-way communication.

Kindergarten runs from 9am- 3pm. You can also take advantage of extended care for early drop-off and late pick-up to provide flexibility for your family.

Now is the time to prepare for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year. Kindergarten at the Rosen JCC offers children a solid foundation in a warm and nurturing environment. To learn more about the program, call 1-407-387-5330 or schedule a tour.
