Rosen JCC Welcomes New CEO and Executive Director
ORLANDO, FL — The Rosen Jewish Community Center is proud to announce that Ofira Bondorowsky has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of the center. She succeeds Dr. Reuben Romirowsky, who is retiring after years of dedicated leadership and service to the Rosen JCC community.
“I’m honored to join the team of dedicated staff at the Rosen JCC and grateful to Harris Rosen, the Rosen Foundation, and the Rosen JCC Board of Directors for their support and trust,” Bondorowsky said in the announcement.
Harris Rosen shared his enthusiasm for this leadership transition, noting that Bondorowsky’s passion for community service and her leadership experience will continue to strengthen the organization.
“I am confident that her passion for community service, leadership experience, and vision for the future will be tremendous assets to the JCC and to Central Florida’s Jewish community,” Rosen said. “When you see Ofira’s distinguished record of success, you will know that the Rosen JCC and the Central Florida Jewish community are both in great hands for today and for many years to come.”
Jason Jacobson, President of the Rosen JCC Board of Directors, echoed this excitement.
“We are very excited to welcome Ofira to the Rosen JCC,” Jacobson said. “Ofira’s years of experience and knowledge with nonprofit organizations will enable her to explore and identify new opportunities as we grow our community partnerships.”
Bondorowsky, an accomplished leader and philanthropic visionary, brings with her an impressive background in both public education and the nonprofit sector. She is known for building capacity through strong community partnerships and previously served as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships for Charity Navigator.
Born in Israel and raised in Southeast Orlando, Ofira brings both local insight and global perspective to her role. Her appointment marks an exciting new chapter for the Rosen JCC, reinforcing its mission to foster connection, inclusivity, and growth through meaningful programs and community initiatives.
