Camp J - Program & Staff

Camp J is where campers make memories and friendships that last a lifetime! With program options for every age and interest, Camp J is the place for your child to grow and shine.

Welcome to Camp J, where campers make memories and friendships that last a lifetime! We are excited to share the tremendous Camp J experience with you and your family. Our programs encourage campers, from toddlers to teens, to explore and develop their interests in a fun, supportive community. In addition to participating in our full range of camp activities, our campers become more independent, experience being part of a group and a community, and learn to interact with their peers. With program options for every age and interest, Camp J is the place for your child to grow and shine.

Nothing is more important to us than your child’s care and well-being. Our staff members are selected based on their interest and experience in working with children, and their embodiment of the friendly, energetic, and caring environment that we create at camp. All staff members are background checked, and participate in a week-long training program prior to the summer to prepare them to provide your camper the support he or she needs for a successful summer.

We take great pride in our inclusive environment, which welcomes children of all faiths, families and backgrounds. While the JCC is not a religious institution, we proudly celebrate Jewish culture and values, such as honesty, courage, respect and repairing the Earth. Jewish and Israeli culture is experienced through singing, food, and fun activities.

We thank you for selecting Camp J as your camper’s home-away-from-home this summer. We take great pride in our camp programs and the positive effects they have on young people. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions before, during or after the summer, or if there is anything we can do to positively impact your camper’s experience.

JCC Mission

The Rosen JCC builds community, strengthens family life, and promotes Jewish values.

Camp J Values

Each summer, we select four values that we build our community around. These values permeate everything our campers and staff members do on a daily basis, creating a cohesive and appreciative community. This summer’s values are:

  • Righteous Deeds (gemilut chasadim)
  • Spirit (ruach)
  • Peace (shalom)
  • Truth (emet)
